REPORT: THE CONSUMED GATHERING August 24 - 26, 2006

About 36 people from 9 different churches from Prince George attended the Consumed Gathering in Edmonton last week.

We wept a lot and the children and nations were brought to the forefront at this gathering of about 3,000 people, young and old.

John Ziemer said:

“The two main points I noticed were, the way the children were front and center of what the Lord was doing...the carefulness to include them strategically.

The second point is that this is no longer just about Canada, but has now moved to the place where we and the nations must push together.”

CHILDREN:

One morning after a beautiful and long time of intimate worship, we were silent. Then we were aware of a child's voice coming over the microphone. She was weeping and interceding for the glory of God to come. It was true intercession according to Romans 8:26 and 27. Weeping began to break out in the crowd. Then when she paused, clapping started to erupt, but David Demian immediately stopped that, saying it was not time for clapping...this was about the presence of the Lord. The girl, who was around 10, carried on... until the Spirit of the Lord lifted.

Also, Avi Misrahi, a Messianic Jewish pastor from Tel Aviv brought a beautiful shofar as a gift to David. David called up several men to blow it. They only managed a squeak. Avi then began to say that the person in their congregation who could play it the best was his daughter, who was 11 years old. David asked if there were any girls in the crowd who wanted to blow the shofar. Three immediately ran up and all three where able to get the true, loud sound of the shofar! It was very powerful.

A 12 year old girl played the violin with the worship teams at times. She was very anointed. David had arrived in Edmonton a few days before the Gathering began and met with the worship teams. This young girl came up to David and said. "Do you remember me?" She had been at a gathering of leaders as a two year old, after the Victoria Gathering in 1996. David had spoken about the glory of God. This little girl had run forward and with a loud voice said, "Yes! Yes! The glory of God is coming! It is now time!" She had been under the anointing. This had been a great encouragement to David as he had felt like quitting as the Victoria gathering did not seem to break into what was on God's heart.... and here 10 years later, was this girl and nations were now coming to the Gatherings

David Demian spoke about children saying:

Children are making declarations! The disciples asked the children to be silenced. Jesus said, "The stones will then cry out if these are silent". Today as the girl played the violin, the children started to dance and shout "Hosanna! Hosanna!" which means: "God save us! God save us!" The devil does not know what to do when the children cry out. This Gathering marks a new era. The nations are witnessing. We all came anticipating a shift. NOW IS THE TIME! The church has prepared the way. God has answered the cry of His people.

THE GREATEST VICTORIES WILL COME BY SIMPLE OBEDIENCE TO THE WORD...LIKE THESE CHILDREN... The girls who could blow the shofar...the men could not. THE SECRET IS TO LISTEN AND OBEY AND DON'T WALK ALONE.

THE SECRET IS TO BRING PLEASURE TO THE LORD BY YIELDING TO HIM AND LISTENING TO WHAT HE SAYS AND HUMBLING OURSELVES LIKE CHILDREN.

IT IS NOT BY MIGHT, NOR BY POWER, BUT BY MY SPIRIT, says the Lord.

God wants to lower the human factor.

Your obedience brings pleasure to His heart.

The Old Testament stories have the message again and again: THEN GOD SHOWED UP.

People ask me: "Tell us the strategy." I begin to shrink because I do not have a profound thing to say. I don't know how it happened. We just did what God asked us to do.

OUR PURPOSE IN LIFE IS TO PLEASE HIM AND HE WILL ESTABLISH HIS KINGDOM.

Also, the children were always called to the front to dance and worship. There were young people there among them guiding them. They also had some sessions separately. At one of the sessions, they were asked to write out or tell of a time when the Lord spoke to them or revealed Himself to them in a special way. A 10 year old girl shared how when she was five years old, her mom had a baby - a sister, who died. This girl was so grieved and hurting, she said she was angry with God for 5 years of her life. Then one day, she had a dream or vision, that a cowboy came down this glass staircase. He had red hair and freckles. He took her up this glass staircase and to a place where there were many places. Over one place was the name of her great - grandmother. He asked her if she wanted to go see her. She said yes she did. There was her great grandmother and with her a little girl with a tutu and ballet slippers. She was very happy. Then the cowboy said it was time to go down again. She did and said from then on she was not angry with God any more. God healed her heart through this vision or dream. (Interestingly, I had just thought about God as a cowboy a few days before...as a group of intercessors were praying, I saw God lassoing prodigals and the lost, and never missing...always getting them with the first throw)

NATIONS:

Over 200 people from 30 nations came to join in with this Gathering. Over the years that we have been taking this Journey in Canada to seek the Lord, to hear His voice, and to obey what He tells us corporately to do regarding our nation, many nations have been watching. They have been so moved by some of the things and have known this is what they need for their nations. Around 61 German people came. A businessman had paid for around 40 of their tickets, making it available for whole families to come...as this gathering was about families, about the children, the youth and young people alongside the adults. There was a powerful moment when we were called to pray over the German people. Many came and bowed at their feet to bless them. Kenny Blacksmith, a First Nations leader prayed a blessing and then Michael Goertzman, a Messianic Jewish leader was asked to do so. He took the mic, but could only weep uncontrollably for about 10 minutes. An older German man came and held him against his shoulder as Michael wept. Finally he was able to quiet himself and say, "I forgive you!" .... "And now I bless you!" I don't think there was a dry eye in the place.

We need to be a humble nation to serve other nations. Our weakness is pride. Keep us from falling back into that trap that we have to understand how it will work.

David:

Canada is a womb - to help give birth to destinies of other nations. Germany is going to surprise the whole world -- we will say "WOW!" The enemy tried to abort the destiny of Germany...used to be called The Fatherland. Germany is a father nation...they are a most passionate people. God will restore the fullness of passion. Germany and China have a calling for the Arabs and Jews.

The Chinese, Taiwanese and a group from Hong Kong were called up...around 70. They just thanked Canada for what has been happening here...it was so humbling. They said it was not sacrifice for them to come...they just feel so blessed and served by Canada and are so hungry to do this in their nations. One pastor said that Asian pastors are so busy and efficient, but when he has been here for just 3 days, he has wept and wept day after day, as THIS is what his spirit is hungry for....to hear the voice of the Father, to wait and hear what is on His heart....not be so busy doing so many things! Another pastor shared how he has been able to speak to several conferences of pastors: One in Myannanmar...around 500 pastors, and another one in another Asian country of 800 pastors....he has just shared what God has been doing in Canada with the Watchmen Journey over 11 years. These pastors wept as he told them. It was so amazing to hear. The nations are wanting the glory of God to come...and they are realizing it will only come as we position ourselves to not initiate anything, but to take time in intimacy with Him, hear what is on His heart and obey and do that which He tells us. Not good strategies, plans, and visions. We can even get the strategies from the Lord, and then run to fulfill them in the strength of our own might....not being led of the spirit in the timing and the how, the place. God wants our gaze to be upon Him, not on the strategies. ALWAYS!! Oh, Lord grant that we would get it!! Praise God, we will, because the Word of God promises that He is coming for a Bride without spot or wrinkle.

We want to live in the shadow of things to come: Living under the shadow of the Almighty, so our shadow will touch many. Types and shadows! Types and shadows! Types and shadows! of the other land shere we will live forever. The glory will come and consume you.

GLOBAL GATHERINGS

What you are watching now is a foretaste of global gatherings which will be held in the next 10 years. No prejudice of race, color or denominationalism. There will be a great explosion never seen before in the past decades. There will be a free exercise of the spiritual gifts. There will be free worship that will bring people into the FULL PRESENCE OF GOD. This will mark and winess the global revival that will happen in the next 10 years. While the earth will suffer from much turmoil, the sound of the last hour will bring an awakening to the whole world. FROM NOW ON BE ANTICIPATING AND EXPECTING...signs and wonders will fill the earth. It is a time for the people to lift their eyes because the end is about to happen.

For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not of its own will but beause of Him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now. And not only this, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, wating eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our body. For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one also hope for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it.

A SPIRIT OF TRAVAIL AND INTERCESSION ENGULFING ALL OF CANADA...FOR THE NATIONS
Canada will not be excluded from God's feasting table. In spite of Canada's natural and spiritual passivity, a small remnant will merge on the scene, carrying the burden for many nations. A spirit of travail and intercession will engulf the whole nation. Canada will be a spiritual womb for nations. I saw many intercessory troops being trained to intercede. The Lord will bless many nations through this travailing intercession. The Lord assured me there would be a time when sense something very thrilling from heaven and many dreams and visions will be revealed to many regarding the nations.

ENTER AS A CHILD
"Therefore, since we receive a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe; for our God is a consuming fire" Hebrews 12:28 and 29

We are to become like little children to enter in the kingdom. Though we smell the fire and smoke, we enter until we are consumed. NO TURNING BACK! NO TURNING BACK! NO TURNING BACK!

COSMOLOGICAL CHANGES/SUPERNATURAL VISITATIONS WILL BRING AN AWAKENING
I saw the Lord Jesus Christ seated on the throne clothed in His priestly, kingly robe. Lightning and thunder was sparking. He is about to take the scroll and open the seals. "Tell my people that cosmological changes will hit the earth. Supernatural visitations will bring an awakening. Especially to the church worldwide. When you see the antagonistic nations are encircling Jerusalem you will know I will descend from heaven and touch the earth and come to my persecuted people in Jerusalem."

David Demian:
HARVEST TIME FOR PRODIGALS TO RETURN AND FOR THE LOST TO COME TO JESUS!
Lift up your eyes for the fields are white unto harvest...a rhema about the harvest! A shift has come! The labourers are about to be released. Now is the time! The Lord will utter His voice before His army! Children, youth, young adults, parents, grandparents...pray now! Look! The fields are ripe! The labourers are ready! The principality is down.

Egyptian Pastor:
FLAMES OF FIRE WILL GO FROM HERE TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH

Flames of Fire will go from here, Ablerta, to the ends of the earth....starting the endtime revival. I saw a vision of the throne with the Lord with a golden robe. During the first session, as the drummer was drumming God showed me Psalm 149 where it speaks of the high praises that will capture the princes of darkness... the LORD WILL BE GLORIFIED. What happened here at this Gathering, is a MEMORIAL, A LANDMARK. Each and every prayer and praise. YOU WILL SEE WITH YOUR EYES AS IT WILL GO TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH.

David Demian:
CREATION
All creation is longing. Stars are rejoicing. The Lord is about to release Himself through a church. Isaiah 49:13 says, "Shout for joy, O heavens!" Creation displays through thunder and lightning. Fish, whales, waters, sky, mountains, the earth IS GROANING FOR THE MANIFESTATION OF THE SONS OF GOD.

KEY STATEMENTS FROM THIS GATHERING:

David Demian:

• One thing we have learned the hard way, is to walk softly. When we wear mocassins, we feel. When we wear army boots, we cannot feel when we are stepping on someone.
• His plan is not about you figuring it out...it is not about the PLAN...there is no secret about marching around walls. There is no secret about singers and musicians going ahead of the army. There is no secret about torches in clay pots. THE SECRET IS THAT THEY HUMBLED THEMSELVES AND PRAYED.
• THE PURPOSE is not the strategy.
• THE PURPOSE IS TRAINING A PEOPLE WHO WILL HEAR HIS VOICE AND BE FOOLISH ENOUGH TO OBEY WHAT HE SAYS.
• It is humbling: we could do it better. We might pick a better date. We might pick a better place.
• Why this way? SO HE WILL ALWAYS TAKE THE GLORY THAT IT WAS DONE HIS WAY.
• He could have sent angels to get the job done...He is not short on resources.
• IT IS ABOUT HEARING GOD
• We change our plans for God.
• Are we job - oriented or God - oriented? Are we vision - oriented or God oriented?
• He speaks when He wants, Not when we want.
• Someone will be angry when you step out to do what He wants...It is better to not have God angry, by your unwillingness. Be on God's side and everything will turn out.
• DO ONLY WHAT THE LORD TOLD YOU TO DO.
• THE ONLY WAY TO BRING PLEASURE TO GOD IS TO DO IT HIS WAY.
• Do not bow to a rich man, or a poor man.
• The faster process is not quicker than the slower process. Because it is not God's process.
• God said, "If you don't - I will choose someone else."
• WE NEED TO BE ABANDONED TO DO IT HIS WAY.
• Moses said, " If Your presence does not go with us, do not lead us up from here. For how then can it be known that I have found favor in Your sight, I and Your people? Is it not by your going with us, so that we, I and Your people, may be distinguished from all the other people who are upon the face of the earth?" Exodus 33: 15, 16
• OUR EYES ARE TO BE ON HIM...It is not about signs and wonders, it is not about souls. IT IS ABOUT HIM. There will be signs and wonders. There will be souls. BUT THESE FOLLOW AS OUR EYES ARE ON HIM.
• We do not want to lower the bar. We only want to go forward with HIS PRESENCE. After every six steps, we need to sacrifice, like David did when he was moving the Ark. He was not confident in himself. The number six is the number of man. Our tendency is that we want to get something from God (ie, the vision, the strategy) and run with it.
• THE GLORY OF THE LORD WILL COVER THE EARTH AS THE WATERS COVER THE SEA.
• God's purposes are to keep us HIDDEN and to keep us HUMBLE, as watchmen:
• There is often a commercial mentality in the church...we can exploit and commercialize what God is doing through an anointed speaker. A speaker is used to bring in the crowds and the registration money. TV wants that person...and then they begin to say things beyond what God is asking them to say. Keep us hidden.
• Because of pride, keep us humble. Every level needs another level of humility.
• We do not need to protect the Ark, the Presence of God. Watch what God is about to do, TAKE A BACK SEAT.
• Unity is the magic point, where the Presence of the Lord comes.
• We will not initiate for God.
• When He speaks, we will not run and do it our way.
• We will wait for strategy and timing.
• SO IT WILL BE DONE HIS WAY.
• WHAT SHOULD DISTINGUISH US IS THE PRESENCE OF GOD.

Kenny Blacksmith (a First Nations leader):

• It is no longer about us having a distinct voice. Now it is the same as yours. We are one voice. I am not a Cree, but a member of the body of Christ.

Veronica (an Innuit leader)

• We are part of the Body of Christ in Canada.
• We have been waiting for 3 days. Not for another prophetic word, nor another miracle. BUT FOR YOUR PRESENCE.
• THE PRAISE OF THE BRIDE PROVOKES THE LORD TO HASTEN HIS RETURN.
• No more promotion or man - made agendas.
• NO TURNING BACK!

SIGNS AND WONDERS:

• When God does something significant in the spiritual realm, there is a corresponding sign in the heavens. This is what we experienced at the Consumed Gathering. Two major things happened. There was a huge lightning and thunder storm in the evening of the Pre- Gathering time where 500 leaders met to prepare the way for the Gathering. It was very loud and spectacular. I have not experienced a thunder storm like that in a very long time. It was spoken that God is pleased with what is happening and creation is declaring it: "His splendor covers the heavens and the earth is full of His praise"! HALLELUJAH.
• Also, during the Gathering, the news came out, front page of the National Post on August 25, that the planet Pluto is dead. It was voted out as a planet by the International Astronomical Union in Prague on August 24, 2006. It is considered too small to be a planet. That is huge. Textbooks will have to be changed again. Now there are only 8 planets instead of 9. The name Pluto is a name for Hades or Death. One of the names of the evil one. The sense is that there is a TRANSITION now. When Goliath was killed, the armies arose to take what had been under the enemies rulership. AUTHORITY AND POWER OVER SOULS HAS BEEN WEAKENED. Pluto is dead!
• WE WILL HAVE AN INCREASED NUMBER OF PRODIGALS AND LOST COMING INTO THE KINGDOM. There was a sensing that HARVEST TIME IS NOW ...as a rhema instead of just a logos.
• On the last night, a word came that God is pleased with what has taken place at this Gathering. He has CONSUMED our sacrifice or worship and that we will see even CREATION CELEBRATING. Why would that be? Because Romans 8 talks about creation groaning to see the manifestation of the children of God. Even creation is working to birth the kingdom of God to become manifest. So, did this celebrating by creation happen?
  
  YES! Those of us that drove home from Edmonton to PG, the next day saw some very spectacular, strange, captivating, and delightful things:
  
  I have included an attachment of the smoky, misty phenomena on the emerald coloured Moose Lake between Jasper and McBride. Cars were stopping and people were taking pictures, saying, we do not know what this is...?
• Also, there was a glistening lake between Hinton and Jasper that was stunning. Cars had stopped and people were walking across the lake...what appeared to be on water. The lake was maybe a kilometer across and 3 - 4 km. wide. Groups of people walked across this lake, so we stopped and did the same...walking almost one half of the way. it was truly a glorious moment with the breeze, the mountains, the blue skies and sunshine and the appearance of walking on water. Jesus said, "Greater things than these will you do." I think before He comes, we will literally be doing some of those supernatural things.
• There has been a sense of HEAVEN ON EARTH, a prophesy given about this year of 2006. Heaven and earth working together, intertwined more than before. These are signs to speak of what God is doing at this point of time.
• Lord, grant to us sensitivity to your voice in a greater way. Your voice is a still, small voice at times. And then it thunders at other times. Let us not miss what you are saying in this hour. O Lord, let the Bride position herself to hear and obey...help us to long to hear your heart more.

Mark 13:25 And the stars will be falling from heaven and the powers that are in the heavens will be shaken.

Luke 21: 25 And there will be SIGNS in the sun, moon and starts and upon the earth dismay among the nations.

Joel 2: 30 And I will display wonders in the sky and on the earth

Habakkuk 3:3 and 4 His splendor covers the heavens and the earth is full of His praise. His radiance is like the sunlight. He has rays flashing from his hand and there is the hiding of His power.

The voice of the Lord is upon the waters;
The God of glory thunders,
The Lord is over many waters.
The voice of the Lord is powerful,
The voice of the Lord is majestic
... and in His temple everything says,
"Glory!"
